Comments:

While not a graduating member of Eastmont High in 1964, I have always felt close to that class. I moved away when I was beginning my Junior year, but kept in touch with some of the members for several years. I graduated from Dewey, Oklahoma, and have a BA in History from Southern Illinois University, an MA in History from St. Marys University (San Antonio Texas), and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa. I spent seven years active duty with the US Army (Military Intelligence) including tours in Vietnam (I speak the language), and Germany. I added 23 years in the US Army Reserve and retired a Lieutenant Colonel. I practiced law from 1979 to 2005 when I retired. I spend eight of those years as a prosecutor. My wife and I have been married 42 years, and have traveled extensively, including: Europe, The Soviet Union, China, Australia, Antarctica, and most recently to Egypt in October 2010. We were in East Wenatchee in May 2011. I retired from the practice of law after I became 100% disabled due to the effects of Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam. My wife spent her career in the oil and gas industry, retiring in 2008 as a Landman for Kaiser-Francis Oil Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma. We now live in a resort retirement facility called Inverness Village. I keep busy with activities at Inverness including being the president of the Resident Council three years ago, on the Board of Directors of Inverness Village, on the Board of Directors of both the Sapulpa Historical Society (President in 2012 and 2013), and the Sapulpa Historical Society Foundation.
